Vacaville Sunrise Rotary Club was delighted to welcome Doriss Panduro, Outreach Coordinator for CASA of Solano County, to our recent meeting!
Doriss shared how Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in foster care by providing a consistent, caring voice and advocating for their needs.
We learned how CASA operates, the impact the organization is making throughout Solano County, and how community members can get involved through volunteering and supporting its mission.
A heartfelt thank-you to Doriss for an informative and inspiring presentation! Your dedication to helping vulnerable children is a wonderful example of Service Above Self! 💙

Thank you to Kerri Schillinger for her interactive presentation on “Right-Brained Versus Left-Brained Thinking.” Through slides and hands-on exercises, Kerri explored the concept of hemispheric dominance, the strengths and challenges associated with each thinking style in that framework, and how the brain processes incoming information.
Members joined in the activities and considered the different ways we approach learning, communication, and problem-solving. Thank you, Kerri, for bringing curiosity, conversation, and participation to our meeting! 💙💛
